Seek restore, not invent book found gave name, rules describing the game, its organization, and describing those who can participate. He cannot change, alter, abbreviate, or in any other manner violate the rule book, or the game HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED!!

Errors of the Eldership to the priesthood-

Elders-presbuteros, presbyter has taken the meaning of sacredos-Cath Encyc, XII, pg 416

Elders formed a council—lost its original meaning, applied only to the minister of worship-priest

Made episcopos successors of apostles, rulers of church

Douay version translates presbuteros (old man) as priest, yet all their priest are young men!! We all are priest, male and female- 1Pet 23:6-9, NO OFFICIAL IN EARLY church called a priest---the leader of worship was the preacher Heb 13:7, 1Thess 5:12 (hegomai, synomym of poimeno-to shepherd, bosko-to feed, Heb 13:7, Rom 12:8)

Priest are to speak to God for you, you cannot Our Priesthood pg 22

Sacraments-things made holy that are physical—15th century affirmed Council of Trent

Make play on Eph 5:32 changed mystery to sacrament

His wife?? Translates gune 15 times in chapter 7 as wife!!

Catholic Bible bishop husband of ONE Wife—2 Tim 2, Titus 1

Lord’s Supper

Glasius, 492 AD condemned any not partaking of chalice 1 Cor 11:23-30, command

Is to DRINK, not refuse

Penance Acts 2:38 changed from repent to penance Douay version, Confraternity version (modern Catholic Bible, changed back) “Do penance and be baptized”

Tradition

Apostles consigned many revealed truths to unwritten history and made the church from the beginning independent of their writings. History of the Church of God. Pg 253 BG Spalding

Contradictions: The Virgin Mary, Guitton, 88 “Let us now notice the only reliable records are those in the New Testament..

Catholic authorities heavily rely ‘Eusebius History’, especially when they attempt to establish a line of popes all the way back to Peter.

No Roman tradition: Tertullian, one of the most famous Latin apologistsstates “practily all the great names in the history of Christian literature will be African. During the same period, Rome will produce little or nothing”. History of Christian Philosophy, Gilson, pg 44

Rome had lost the thread of their traditions as early as the second half of the fourth century.” Catholic Encyc., IX, 744

A “Dogma” is a statement by the pope for which there is not a shred of truth!! About Peter being in Rome they state—“it was not divinely revealed that Peter was Bishop of Rome, but it is a dogmatic fact, i.e. an historical truth so certain and so intimately connected with the dogma of the primacy that it comes under the divine, infallible teaching authority of the Church.” Question Box, 1929 Edition, pp145

.

Revelation received from lips of Christ Himself or handed down by Apostles at the dictation of Holy Ghost. Tradition as a source of faith would suffice without Scripture.

The Question Box, Brooklyn Tablet, Nov 8, 1958

Baptism

Church at one time practiced Baptism by immersion. Done up to the 13th century. The Council of Ravenna, in 1311 changed the form from immersion to pouring.

The church had good reasons for doing this—sick could not be immersed. Paul must have used either sprinkling or pouring for the jailer. Our Faith and the Facts, Donovan p 399 Matt 11:30, Rom 3:4

Man cannot judge, independently, his understanding of scripture—the Church must

Christian Apologetics, Deviviers-Messmer, 354-355

Mary’s clothes NEVER grew old! Aprocryphal and Legendary Life of Christ, Donehoo p 21 “Her raiment which was always of the natural colors, never became foul nor wore out no tore, but that which her mother put upon her on the day she gave her to the temple, remained upon her until the day of her death; as regards that which Mary increased daily, the raiment became greater with her.”

Catholics borrowed from Buddhism

The monasticism and the religious services of Lamaism also present so striking a similarity with Catholic institutions that non-Cathoilic investigators have unhesitatingly spoken of a ‘Buddhist Catholicism’ in Tibet. The pope and the Dalilama, Rome and the city of Lhasa , Lamaism and its monasterities, bells, processions, litanies, relics, images of saints, holy water, rosary beads, bishops mitre, crosier, vestments, capes, baptism, confession, mass, sacrifice for the dead”. Catholic Encyc, XII, page 409

Rosary

According to tradition St. Dominic appointed Grand Inquisitor for the purpose of carrying fire fire and sword to the destruction of those who refuse to follow Catholicism, the Albigenses, that at the earnest prayer of Dominic to Mary, she appeared to give him specifications for the Rosary. Dominic never heard of the Rosary, it came 250 years after his death when Alan de Rupe wrote the forgery including this story. Catholic Dictionary, Vatican Edition, p 305

Catholic authorities now admit Alan was a very earnest and devout man, but as the highest authorities admit, he was full of delusions, and based his revelations on imaginary testimony of writers that never existed!! Catholic Ency.,XIII, 184-186

7 sacraments of RCC

Confirmation---purpose of strength and protection through spiritual impartation. “Like all sacraments, confirmation was given by the Lord, BUT the account of when and where is not given in the scriptures.” Visible Church, p 47 given, but the Lord failed to mention it!! Minister of confirmation—a Bishop, once in every 5 years, p. 48---use consecrated oil, or the holy chrism (perfumed oil, mixed with balm of balsam, the symbol of spiritual strength [used by athletes to promote bodily vigor] “I sign thee with the sign of the cross and confirm thee with the chrism of salvation in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.”

Bishop extends his hands, invoking seven gifts of the Spirit, anointing the forehead with the chrism in the form of a cross. Blows on the cheek (Maybe better smell Bishop’s breath before he blows!) Bishop then pronounces Pax Tecum ”peace be with you” and you are good for 5 years!

Penance confession of sins AFTER baptism not enough to repent and pray! You must PAY and pray. (Length of time determine how much you pay, a professional fee) Visible Church , pg 51 “All priests have the power of forgiving sins”, but cannot exercise it without permission.
